Work It Out

Don't Sweat It!
On a recent shopping trip I was feeling super sporty looking for new kicks. I came across new gear from Nike that would be well suited for rehersals for So You Think You Can Dance?
What I discovered is perfermance gear for the urban dancer. Looking cute while breaking a sweat whether you're in class or just running to it .
I loved this Nike Layering Tank Hoody – This unique two-layer rayon hoody is easy to throw on and is a good piece over your base layer, allowing customized style.

Nike combines Dri-Fit technology with high performance features and design lines to become a workout favorite. Looser, easier fit in this 2-in-1 short features an open bottom hem and a wide waist-band with external drawcord meant to be worn on the hips.

Get Beachy!

Stuck indoors this summer and miles from surf, sand and sun?

Get the “just from the beach” look from head to toe with the following homemade beauty recipes made from Epsom Salt:

Hair: For salt-sprayed beach tresses with volume and texture, combine equal parts of warm, deep conditioner and Epsom Salt. Work the warm mixture through your hair and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse.

Face: For a sun-kissed dewy complexion, mix 1/2 TSP of Epsom Salt into cleansing cream. Gently massage on skin. Rinse with cool water. Pat dry. Apply your favorite moisturizer.

Body: Before applying sunless tanner, remove dead skin with an Epsom Salt body scrub. Mix 2 cups of Epsom Salt with 1/4 cup of petroleum jelly and a few drops of lavender essential oil. Use the mixture to gently slough away dry patches.

Feet: No need to walk on hot sand to get smooth feet. For a foot scrub, mix 2 cups of Epsom Salt with 1/4 cup of petroleum jelly and a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Use the mixture to gently scrub the heels and dry, rough patches on the feet.
